The Drama Club functions intending to equip students to deliver impeccable theatrical performances. The club aims to develop both production and performance skills among students, for which workshops and seminars are organized. It is designed for students interested in learning more about the aspects of the theatre. This includes learning stage terminology, working on acting skills, set costumes etc. In addition, theatre workshops are conducted in order to explore the possibilities of interdisciplinary linkages between different forms of performing arts. Public presentation of dramas with the involvement of students in all major areas of production and performance is the focal point of all our activities. The Drama Club is open to all students, and the Department of English manages the Drama Club activities.
